Pravani It is Rakthaja, Chedana vyadhi The affected shandhi is Shukla Krishna Sandhi (Vagabhata- Varthma Shukla Sandhi) Description-Sushrutha A small nodular copper coloured nodule or shopha arises in Shukla Krishna Sandhi by the vitiation of rakta dosha, it associate with pain and burning sensation. Vagabhata- a small round copper coloured follicle or nodule (pitica) resembling the mudga, originates in varthma Shukla Sandhi- associated with pain and burning sensation- if the nodule is excised it bleeds. Chikitsa- Swedana Chedana like arms Residue has to scrape by lekhana or prathisarana with saindhava lavana+Madhu etc drugs.

Upanaha / Lacrimal Cyst It is Kaphaja, Bhedana sadhya vyadhi. The affected sandhi is Drusti sandhi.(Vagabhata has not mentioned the name of affected Sandhi) Description of Sushrutha:- Painless, non supportive, bigger cyst originates in the Dusti Sandhi and have only itching sensation at the lesion. Description of Vagabhata:- A painless, non supportive, bigger, deep rooted, soft sticky, same colour cyst develops and contain itching sensation is explained as Upanaha Note:  Exact correlation is not possible, drusti identity itself not clear so on confirmation of drusti Sandhi is also difficult.
