Desire for LONG LIFE

Awakening early in morning
The healthy person should get up from bed during Brahma muhurta, to protect his life

Cleaning of teeth-
Contempting on the condition of his body, the person should next, attend to ablution, (after eliminating the urine and feces), Then after, he should clean his teeth with twigs of arka, nyagrodha, khadhira, kakubha etc. Which are astringent, pungent and bitter in taste, twigs should be the size of the tip of the tittle finger in thickness and 12 angulas (finger's breadth) in length and straight, it's top made like a soft brush (by chewing), the teeth should be cleaned without hurting the gums.
Person suffering from indigestion, vomiting, dyspnoea, cough, fever, facial paralysis, thirst, ulceration of the mouth, diseases of the heart, head and ears, should not make use of the tooth brush(for cleaning the teeth)
Collyrium to the eyes-
Sauviranjana is good for the eyes, Jensen it should be used as eyesalve daily.
The eye is full of Tejas(light) and has risk of troubles especially from kapha, hence rasanjana should be used once in week, to drain kapha out.

Afterwards the person should make use of nasal drops, mouth gargles, inhalation of medicated smoke and chewing of betel leaves.
Betel chewing-
Tambula (betel-chewing) is harmful to those suffering from wounds, bleeding diseases, dryness and redness of the eyes, poisoning, unconsciousness, intoxication and even from consumption.
Oil massage-
Oil massage and bath should be restored to daily, it wards offold age, exertion and aggravation of vata, bestows good vision, nourishing to the body, long life, good sleep, good and strong healthy skin. It should be done specially to the head, ears and feet.
It should be avoided by person suffering from aggravation of kapha, who have just undergone purifactory therapies and who are suffering from indigestion.
Excercise-
lightness of the body ability to do hard work, keen digestion deflection of excess fat stable and distinct physique accure from physical exercise.
Person suffering from disses of vata and pitta, children, aged and TT hose havvha indigestion should avoid it.
After doing exercises all the parts of the body should be massaged comfortably.
Thirst, emaciation, severe dyspnoea difficult or excess breathing, bleeding diseases, exhaustion,feel fee of debility even without any work, cough, fever and vomitting are caused by excess of excercise.
Massage-
Massaging the body with soft, fragrant powder mitigates kapha, liquifies the fat, produces stability of the body parts and excellence of the skin.
Bath-
Bath improves appetite, sexual vigour, span of life valour and strength , removes itching, dirt, exhaustion, sweat, stoupor, thirst,burn bur sensation and sin.
Pouring warm water over the body bestows strength of the hair and eyes.
Bath is contraindicated for those suffering from facial paralysis, diseases of the eyes, mouth and ears, diarrhoea, flatulence, discharge of foul smelling liquid from the nose, indigestion and who have just taken food.
Good conduct-
person should take food after digestion of previous meal that which is suitable to him and in limited quantity. Urges of the body should not be initiated prematurely by force should not be engaged in other works when the urges are patent. Not do anything administration of drug therapy without treating their curable diseases first.
